Admission is free and the Museum operates solely off of donations. #### Southeastern Colorado Mining Museum and Memorial The museum contains artifacts, information and artwork related to the Ludlow massacre. The basement contains a simulated mine shaft with tools and equipment used by miners decades ago. Next to the museum is an outdoor memorial for the miners and labor organizers of the area. The memorial includes a canary in a cage and a statue of labor leader Louis Tikas. [219 W. Donations are encouraged. ## New Mexico ### Folsom #### [Folsom Museum](https://www.folsomvillage.com/folsommuseum/index.html) The Folsom Museum is located in Folsom, NM.  Folsom only has a population of about 80 citizens, but it has a larger than life history. The museum was established in 1966 and has occupied the Doherty Mercantile building ever since. Includes exhibits and artifacts related to the flood of 1908, Black cowboy George McJunkin, the Folsom Man discovery, the outlaw Blackjack Tom Ketchum, and more.
