## The Railroad to Trinidad, pg. 3
We have been shown a letter form Joseph Davis, now in Boston, who writes he has had a "talk" with Strong, Milkerson and Pierce, and they express themselves as being anxious to build the road as soon as possible. They have already issued orders to build a wagon road on the most direct and feasible route from Grenada to this place. Pres. Strong in his conversation, said if money was as easy at the present time as it was last year, he could name the day he could put the road into Trinidad. He is doing all in his power to raise the money to continue building, and thinks his prospects are good. Mr. Davis writes he is well pleased with is talk and has great hopes of the early completion of the road to this place.
